Traffic management and load balancing
Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager (ZXTM) is a management, security and optimisation solution which provides centralised control and resilience for applications, and ensures fast and seamless interaction between web-enabled application services. ZXTM is a next generation traffic management and load balancing solution, easing the cost and complexity of mission critical websites and e-commerce environments.
ZXTM Load Balancer (ZXTM LB) is a powerful, fault tolerant and high performance load balancing solution for providers of clustered network services and resilient applications. It offers clients a low cost starting point, with a smooth and cost-effective upgrade path to scale as their business expands.
ZXTM and ZXTM LB products are available as software (for Linux, Windows and Solaris servers) and as virtual appliances.
Global load balancing
ZXTM Global Load Balancer (GLB) is a powerful, easy-to-use load balancing solution that provides business continuity and improved customer experience by enabling failover and load balancing across national and globally-distributed data centres.
GLB is a software-based solution working alongside internet traffic managers such as ZXTM. GLB allows organisations to scale their internet-enabled services to two or more data centres, achieving improved reliability and better utilisation and performance.
The product extends customers’ existing DNS configuration, manipulating responses to control user activity. It does not replace any existing infrastructure and can easily be deployed alongside existing equipment, functioning equally well with any other vendor’s server load balancing and network infrastructure.
