SYSDBA was founded as a consulting company in 1996, with a focus on high-end Unix and database solutions. We quickly gained a reputation for quality services among South Africas largest telecoms companies and other vendors.
As the company grew, changes within the industry prompted us to seek out innovative solutions that would transform the face of IT infrastructure as we know it. SYSDBAs Database Practice is the Oracle hub of the business, with a strong focus on core Oracle technologies such as RAC. As an Oracle partner, we provide database services and solutions, from the management and co-sourcing of database infrastructure to consulting services, software sales and support. We also specialise in proactive packaged services such as health checks, performance analyses and licence auditing.
For clients who require a high performance environment that cannot be provided by current hardware architectures because of the prohibitive cost or capacity boundaries, our consultants are able to use their experience in extreme transaction processing (XTP) to help you accelerate your applications beyond the boundaries of server hardware.
